Introduction
Congratulations on your new website launch! We can imagine you have some things you want to do on your site but the first thing you will need to do before any of that is to log in as an admin user.
Logging in
To do so, at the top of your web browser you will see your website address. Click into it and add the following to the end of the website address: /wp-admin. For example www.yourwebsite.com/wp-admin
Press enter and this will then take you to the login screen, where you enter your username and password. These should have been provided to you when your new site was launched. Then select ‘Log in’ and wait.
You will be taken to the website dashboard by default. From here, you can manage content on your website which we will cover in our other guides.
Forgotten your login details?
If you’ve forgotten your password, click the ‘lost your password’ link and follow the on-screen instructions to set up a temporary password.
If you’ve forgotton all of your account details, please get in touch and we can help to recover these to send to you.
