The challenge
David first met us at Xerocon London 2017 and was impressed that we were the only website development company at the conference.
David liked the fact that we specialised in accountants and felt that we would understand the message and terminology needed to speak to his audience – that is, potential clients.
Munro & Partner’s previous web providers had done a good job but did not have the specific knowledge and understanding of the audience that PracticeWeb brought which meant that coming up with content fell to David. He had to fit this task into his already busy day.
David liked what we had done for other firms and was encouraged to hear of their ensuing success in terms of new client acquisition, directly attributable to the websites we had created for them with their business goals in mind.
How we helped
1 | Staying at number one in Farnham
Munro and Partners was already number one in Google for ‘Farnham accountants’. It was very important for David that his rankings weren’t affected.
2 | New look and feel
Leading up to the build and design of the new website, the production team working with David talked through proposed designs and certain navigation technicalities, and how it fit with current trends in website design.
“The team were positively and collaboratively responsive to my suggestions and input, but firm on the important aspects where their skills and experience certainly outmatched mine in these areas.
“I was enthused by the questions the team asked, which indicated that PracticeWeb were not going to just throw together another generic accountant’s website.”
From the start, our team were interested in who Munro & Partners were, who they wanted to reach, what services they were going to offer and more importantly what ‘flavour’ they wanted their website and content to convey.
Once the site was live, David immediately saw new leads coming in and a substantial increase in prospects giving Munro & Partners compliments on their website. It was clear that it was actually working.

Photography
The photography used on the previous website was of rock climbers which looked out of step for the evolving brand. What we wanted to do was take the central theme of overcoming obstacles and reaching goals and apply it more subtly to Munro & Partners. We featured images of people either at the top of a mountain enjoying the view or in a place of comfort along the journey. The result is a site that has a relaxed beauty around a central theme.

Munro & Partners’ website was given another boost when we turned on Google Adwords (PPC) campaigns in the months that followed the launch of the website.
“Over time, I have been more than pleased by the continued communication and recommendations made by the team.
“It has been a pleasure to work with PracticeWeb and we look forward to our continued growth as a result of their assistance.“
