Google Analytics is a powerful analytical tool that provides valuable insights into website performance, traffic and user behaviour, which helps you understand how users interact with their websites.
We strongly encourage all clients to set up a Google Analytics account, as the data can help inform decision-making, improve your website’s user experience, and maximise the effectiveness of online marketing efforts.
How do I implement this on my website?
Suppose you already have a Google Analytics account. In that case, you can provide us with administrative access so we can connect your Google Analytics with your new website as part of the website development process.
If you don’t already have a Google Analytics account, we can set one up for you. We’ll then share administrative access with you. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can create the account and property independently using the instructions below and then grant us administrative access.
How to create a Google Analytics account
- Go to https://analytics.google.com
- If this is your first time creating a Google Analytics account, click Start measuring under Welcome to Google Analytics.
- If you already have an Analytics account and want to create a new one, go to Admin in the Account column and click Create Account.
- Provide an account name and details.
- Click Next to create a property.
